Job Description

Key Performance Areas
■ Install and maintain operating systems and application software on desktop and laptop computers ■ Install and maintain computer hardware including media drives, printers, 3G card drivers, peripheral drives and the like ■ Provide and offer effective and efficient ICT support services for all SALGA users ■ Investigate and resolve hardware and software faults ■ Provide first line support on all general and SALGA specific software and hardware issues ■ Create new network user account, alter user system details and remove past user accounts as and when notified by Human Resources ■ To liaise directly with users and Supply Chain Unit on matters related to acquisition of ICT product and services ■ Manage users calls and resolutions ■ Provide technical support and training on effective use of technology ■ Escalate issues to System Administrator that require his/her attention ■ Ensure daily service level agreements are met ■ Offer any Help Desk administration function
Qualifications and experience
■Applicants must be in a possession of ICT Diploma, and or MSCE; MCITP; A+; N+; MCTS ■ A minimum of 3 years’ relevant working experience in IT ■Work is normally performed in a typical office work environment ■Possibility of working after hours or on week-end on ad-hoc basis
