Bridging the digital divide on Mandela Day

Newsletter:

Dear friends of the LG ICT Network

Mandela Day is coming up, and some of you will already have put some thought in what you can do on that day to help your community and the people around you. This year we want to inspire you to think a bit out of the box, and inside you line of profession: What can you as ICT experts do to support your communities?

What we would also like you to think about is the state of municipal websites in our country. We recently conducted a survey, assessing all websites according to certain cirteria, and have now published the outcome on our website. There is some good and some bad to find here, and some tips on how we can work on making the municipal websites better accessible and valuable to citizens. Have a look!

Wishing all of you a brilliant weekend

Your LG ICT Team
